School has ended for many children this week, which marks the official beginning of Summer in many households. If you're anything like me, you plan for months to sign your kids up for summer camps and it just slips your mind, leaving you scrambling at the end of the school year. Well, mama, this camp guide is for you!
I’m not big on keeping my kids super busy all summer long, our family enjoys staycations and baseball in the summer, I truly believe kids need the break from school. I also know that it’s important for them to do at least one educational summer camp to help substitute the learning we provide them at home throughout the summer.
I’m always looking for a camp that’s fun and will introduce them to new things while out of school. It's also especially important that my family supports our people. Here are a few Black Owned Summer camps I found in New Orleans that are still accepting sign-ups.
